Saudi Graduate Program - 2014 - 2015
AVK-Saudi is interested in investing on the rising youth and focusing on fresh graduates’ development as well as contributing towards the creation of new employment opportunities. Hence, AVK-Saudi started a training program which concludes with hiring the most talented candidates.
The program allows fresh graduates to gain experience, skills and to increase their knowledge which helps further their career. The trainees will be exposed to the AVK Saudi operations which starts from Production Activities, Quality, Logistics, Sales, and ends with Accounting and Finance. The trainee that successfully passes certain stages will have the opportunity to be trained overseas at the AVK Academy. In addition, the training will be supported with external and online courses.
Program Stages:
The program consists of 4 stages and lasts for a total period of 11 weeks. The candidate is required to pass the "Training Stage Evaluation" successfully to proceed with the remaining training stages.
First Stage: Production Training
Duration: One Month
The candidate will be trained and evaluated on the following operations:
1- Shot blasting operations
2- Powder Coating
3- Fire Hydrant Assembly
4- Fire Hydrant Testing
5- Valve Assembly
6- Valve Testing
Second Stage: AVK-SVMC Department Training
Duration: One Month
In this stage, the candidate will be trained on the different company operational departments listed below:
Product Department:
1- Product and Application
2- Product Specification and Development
3- Customer Complaint
4- Technical Support
Quality:
1- Introduction to Quality Assurance and Control
2- In-Coming Material Inspection
3- In-Process Inspection
4- Pressure Test and Final Inspection
5- Instrumentation
6- Documentation and Certificates
Logistics:
1- Placing purchase orders
2- Receiving of goods in the warehouse
3- Issuance of material from warehouse
4- Accept and store finished goods from production
5- Pick, pack and ship finished goods to customer
6- Order confirmation, import of goods, export of goods and invoicing
Sales:
1- General sales overview
2- Aramco sales overview
3- Navision training
4- Quotation Log Training
Finance:
1- Introduction to Finance
2- Reporting Financial Statement
3- Introduction Letter of Credit
4- Information on Company Financial Policies
